Thursday, February 20, 2020

1:30 pm – MTCC-Los Angeles Equipment Check Ride near Montgomery – 23.4 miles Open to all

Friday, February 21, 2020

10 am – Downtown Montgomery Civil Rights Tour by Bicycle – 8.5 miles Social, Conversation pace

4 pm – 8 pm – Rider Packet Pickup, Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa (Montgomery Room 9)

4 pm – 8:30 pm – Bicycle Loading moving van #1, Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa (Tallapoosa Street)

5 pm – 9:00 pm – Rider Reception, Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa (Starlight Foyer, adjacent to Packet Pickup Room (Montgomery 9)

Saturday, February 22, 2020

5 am – 6:30 am – Late arrival Rider Packet Pickup, Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa (Montgomery Room 9)

5 am – 6:45 am – Late arrival Bicycle Loading, Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa (Tallapoosa Street), moving van #2

6 am – 6:45 am – Bus Loading for all Riders, Tourists, and Bus Captains (Tallapoosa St)

6:45 am – Bicycle transport Moving Van #2 leaves Montgomery for Selma

7 am – Buses leave from Montgomery for Selma

8 am – Buses arrive in Selma (Water St)

8 am – 9 am – Riders and Bikes are reunited in Selma

9 am – 10 am – Riders depart from Selma in waves of 20 riders. Fast riders (19-22 mph or more) will get photographed on the Edmond Pettus Bridge first and released. Then, the next fastest group (15-18 mph) of riders will be photographed. This will continue until the slowest (10-14 mph) will be released. Team groups wishing to be photographed together will leave with the slower groups of riders and will ride together, single file, for the first 3-5 miles of the ride, for safety reasons

9:20 am – 11:30 am – Rest Stop 1

​Lowndes Interpretive Center, Selma to Montgomery Historic Trail Interpretive Center, 7002 U.S. Highway 80 West, Hayneville, AL 36040

11:30 am – 4:00 pm – Rest Stop 3

​Fuel Truck Entrance to Montgomery Regional Airport, Corner of Ed Long Rd and Selma Hwy, Hope Hull, AL 36108

11:30 – 5:30 pm – Finish Line takes photos and checks-in riders at Capitol Steps

11:30 am – 6:00 pm – Post-Ride Meal

5:15 pm – Tourists return to Capitol Steps & Legacy Center

5:30 pm – Last riders return to Capitol Steps & Legacy Center

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510.
Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 820, 1000, 1030 including custom cue entries.
Please be patient. The TCX files take 15-20 seconds to start downloading.


GPX Track (.gpx)
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000, but will not have any custom cues.
