Club Outreach

Montgomery Bicycle Club has several limited outreach programs available with your help! If you would like to make a donation or inquire about services, please feel free to Contact Us. We would be happy to meet you at the club to receive donated items or assist you if one of these services might help you or a neighbor.

Re-Home Bicycles

If you have a working bike or one that isn't cheaper to replace than to repair and want to donate it, the club would be happy to accept it. The donated bikes hang from the rafters at the club office. We mostly have kids sizes but there are a few larger ones, too.

Check out our latest inventory of MBC Re-Homed bicycles at this Google Sheets document. If you would like to make a donation or reserve a bike for adoption, please use the Contact Us page.

Safety Signs

Want to help spread the message to drivers in your neighborhood that there is a 3 foot passing law? As part of our cycling safety initiative, we have 3 feet minimum passing signs available. They are free to club members and can be purchased by non-club members.

Cycling Supplies

We accept donations of used but well cared for cycling supplies that are especially useful to new riders. Examples of items that we currently have are: Lights front & rear, saddles (male and female), storage bag (top tube and under seat), frame pump, tires (700 size), and ladies and men's jerseys.

Bike Repair & Maintenance

Do you have extra parts laying around that might be useful to someone else? We have been helping riders with bike repairs and maintenance when the bike shop has not been a good option. Where we can use parts that have been donated, they are free of charge. If we don't have what is needed, we will install your parts.
