Changing Routes and Riders: If you decide to do a longer or shorter route than the one you registered for, just let us know when you check-in or at the next rest stop during your ride. We will provide you with the correct map & a sticker to match the new color of your new course markings.

On-Site Registration
On-Site registration will be available from 5:30 to 8:45 AM. Register at one of our laptops or complete the registration the registration form near the on-site registration table. Then take your confirmation or form to the table for on-site registration. The worker will accept your payment (cash, check, or debit/credit card) and you will be given your rider packet.

  • All riders will be asked for an emergency contact and phone number at sign-in. The course will be swept after the last rider. In the event, you are hurt, this is the individual we will contact about your situation. If we are unable to reach you at the end of the ride and you did not sign-out, we will notify the emergency contact that we are unaware of your whereabouts. Therefore, it is extremely important that you do not forget to sign-out.
  • We will issue bib numbers, wristbands, and a bicycle tags that indicate to us that you are a registered rider and which course you are riding. It must be worn at all times on the course in order to visit the rest stops and receive road-side support. It is also a big key to your safety. If you have a medical emergency, this is how we link you to your emergency contact.
  • All door prizes will be handed out at Check-out. Pre-Registered Riders are automatically entered into our door prize drawings. Winners will be picked randomly from all pre-registered riders. So, pre-register online at BikeReg.com/2025GAC to have a great chance at some great door prizes!
Rider Staging
Riders will self-stage by route and speed. You will self-seed by average speed in rider staging and be moved in groups of 20 to the start line. It is required by law that we ride no more than 2 abreast. To help ensure this is more likely to happen we start riders 2 abreast in groups of 20. Faster riders start first so there is less likely to be an incident trying to pass.
Routes
Route maps, wristbands, and cue sheets are color coded for the six courses. Roads along the route will have colored arrows on them. PINK markings are for all routes. If you see PINK you are going the right way! Blue is the 5 or 17 mile courses, yellow is the 35 mile course, orange is the 54 mile course, green is the 67 mile course, and white is the 104 mile course.

We have updated the route to avoid crossing the busiest part of South Boulevard. You will be routed through a service road to a much safer crossing and pleasant ride out of town. Please use caution in this area. While it is safer, the pavement is not the best. Slow down for the few minutes it takes to get through the parking lot. It is not a high traffic area so you will be able to safely navigate the service road.

Sharing the Road
  • This is not a race and the course is open to motorists. Please be courteous to all motorists and pedestrians, and be friendly to our neighbors along the route. Read our Road Rules.

On the Road
  • SAG wagons, Montgomery City Police, and Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies on course for assistance. We have first aid kits and water/snacks in the SAG vehicles. We have first aid kit and mechanical bike help at the Rest Stops. If you need help, contact us using cell phone or flag down a SAG wagon, deputy, or go to a Rest Stop. We hope you have a safe, fun ride and that these people will be enjoying watching you ride for the entire day. If you need help, our SAG teams will transport you to the closest rest stop.
  • Call the number on your wristband for SAG support. Cell Phone coverage is uneven over much of the course. You may have to move to better coverage to complete the call. Of course, cyclists take care of each other so someone else can ride to better coverage and alert our SAG network. We have excellent HAM radio support between our Communications Center and the Rest Stops and SAG vehicles. If you need help, contact us and we will get you the help you need.
  • The courses are marked with signs with particular emphasis on the turns. The color of your wristband will remind you the color of the course you are on. Stay on the course and be aware of where you are on your course. Good info about where you are will make it a lot easier to find you if you need assistance! You may download the Life 360 app and it will tell us your exact location.
  • There will also be turn by turn course directions on color coded sheets in your registration packet. The color code on the sheet corresponds to the course and the sheets have mileages, both incremental and cumulative for your particular route. FREE spoken turn by turn directions are available to you at our Ride with GPS event page.
At the Rest Stops
  • Fresh fruit, munchies, Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches, Gatorade, Pepsi products, water, and restrooms.
  • Medical and tech support means "first aid" for bodies and bikes. Any medical problem even slightly serious, you need to call 911. SAG will bring you to the nearest rest stop and the rest stop people will arrange further transport, if appropriate.
  • If you are at a rest stop and need a ride back to the start/finish, let the rest stop volunteers know. They will arrange a ride as soon as they can, depending of course on the urgency of the situation and the availability of transport.
Come enjoy our Themed Rest Stops!
Check-out/Finish Line Rest Area (10:30 to 5:45 PM):
  • Check-out: When you finish you will need to return to the check-out/sign-out so we know you have safely finished. The course will be swept after the last rider is finished. We will notify the emergency contact of any rider who has not signed out after the course is swept.
  • All door prizes will be handed out at the finish of the ride.
  • We will take a finisher's photo for you that will be uploaded to our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Glassner100.
  • Meal: Smoked pulled pork, our famous tomato sandwiches, Asian cole slaw, Asian spring rolls, fried rice, ice cream sandwiches, and more will be waiting for you after check-out. We will also have vegetarian options such as spring rolls, fried rice, and tomato sandwiches. The ASU Football Stadium Hornet Lounge is open to rest, relax, and recover or watch football after your ride!
